At the time of writing this, I've been streaming for about five months. While this isn't my first time streaming, it's the first time I've had a clear vision of who I want to be and what I want to offer through my content. Over these months, I've invested considerable effort into organizing my stream with multiple segments/series that I run regularly, including one I've dubbed "Indie Oasis." In this segment, I feature a new indie game each week. Sometimes, a game requires more than one stream to complete, or if it's large or open-world, it may make a return appearance later on.
I'm an upbeat and positive person who loves games, enjoys discovering new ones, and isn’t overly critical of minor issues.
I'm writing this letter in the hopes of connecting with indie developers to feature their games on my stream. To be clear, I'm not looking for payments. My goal is to build professional relationships with indie developers as I grow my channel and content. This also includes showcasing pre-release or beta games if you'd like to show your work ahead of time!
I believe streamers and indie devs can form mutually beneficial relationships, and that's what I'm looking to cultivate. In return for access to your game, I offer a super chill atmosphere where your game will be played and appreciated, with minimal focus on small negatives. Even if there are game-breaking issues, we'll have a laugh and move on.
I’ll provide honest feedback in a professional manner, focusing on the game itself rather than any preconceived notions. My aim is to create a positive and supportive environment for both my viewers and the developers whose games I feature.
With a consistent schedule, I've structured my content to avoid looking like a 'whatever, whenever' streamer. I currently average between 10 and 15 viewers per stream, sometimes more.
Upfront, I want to clarify that I’m aware some devs ask streamers to promote their games in follow-for-follow groups. I want to be transparent that I don’t and won’t participate in those groups, as meaningless follows don't translate to engaged, returning viewers.
If you're interested in having your game showcased, feel free to reach out for more information.
Thank you for your time and for reading my open letter!
Very Respectfully,
